Ayisha Irfan is a social change and public policy professional. With over 15 years of experience in legislative advocacy, community organizing, and policy analysis, she has led successful equity oriented issue-based campaigns on education, criminal justice, immigration, and police reform.
In her four years at Airbnb she helped found and led the Muslim Employee Resource Group, where employees organized against Airbnb listings in the West Bank and Xinjiang.
She now serves as the AI, Data and Governance Lead for Google’s Knowledge & Information, Trust team, which focuses on implementing product and data policy strategy in response to global data governance regulations impacting Google products, including Google Search, Ads, and Maps. In her non-work time, she serves on the board for the ACLU of NorCal, and as a Workforce Council Member for the Alliance for Decision Education.
