Elisa

Elisa Espinoza is a Senior Program Officer at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, where she leads local and responsive grantmaking in the Bay Area. Prior to joining CZI, she worked at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, supporting county-wide early childhood initiatives to improve school readiness and early literacy. She partnered with school districts, nonprofits, and community leaders to strengthen systems for young children and their families—especially those historically underserved. Elisa began her career in the nonprofit sector supporting homeless services, where she developed a lasting commitment to community-based work.

As a working mom, Elisa is passionate about advancing innovative approaches that help women thrive in the workplace. She is excited to support the WIN Challenge in surfacing bold ideas that promote gender equity at work.
