The O'Donnell Chair of Engineering Professor, Texas A&M University

The O'Donnell Chair in Engineering at Texas A&M, Linda has been a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering since 2019. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) (2006), a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2011), and a Founding member of the National Academy of Innovators (NAI) (2011). She is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Fellow of IEEE. She is the Emerita Chancellor at UC Davis (2009 – 2016), Provost at UIUC (2006 – 2000), Dean of Engineering at Purdue University (2001- 2006), and Associate Dean of Engineering at the University of Michigan (1996 – 2001). She was a faculty member in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan (1984 – 2001) and received her MSEE and Ph.D. from UCLA and her BSEE/Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
