Sangani
Misti Sangani is a seasoned philanthropic advisor with more than 30 years of experience advancing social impact locally, nationally, and internationally. She works closely with generous donors to align their values with nonprofit organizations that are driving meaningful change.
Misti finds joy in building trusted relationships and guiding donors through thoughtful, values-based giving strategies, including multigenerational philanthropy, private foundations, and donor-advised funds. Her work often centers on strengthening nonprofits so they can better serve communities and adapt to a changing world of work.
Previously, Misti served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at Silicon Valley Community Foundation and held senior leadership roles at the Global Fund for Women and the Foundation for Sustainable Development. She currently serves as Board Chair of JobTrain, serves on the USC Dornsife Alumni Advisory Council and was named one of Silicon Valley’s 100 Most Influential Women in 2024. Misti holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and an M.A. from Boston University.
Above all, Misti is inspired by her two amazing young adult daughters, who are each making the world a better place in their own ways.
