Sara El-Amine is a senior strategist and movement builder with deep expertise at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and technology. She began her career helping architect President Obama’s grassroots movement, contributing to major victories including healthcare reform, marriage equality, minimum wage increases, and climate protections. After serving in the Obama administration, she founded the Change.org Global Foundation, built the advocacy arm of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and later led social impact, partnerships, and public affairs at Lyft. She is currently Vice President of Community at Chime, where she works to expand access to financial tools and opportunities for millions of people. A proudly Lebanese-American and Muslim American, Sara was raised across the U.S., Spain, and Lebanon.
