Shanti

Shanthi Bolla is a Senior Program Manager who is dedicated to driving impact for societal good by building meaningful partnerships with leaders and advocates in communities, public policy, and civil society.At Aspen Digital, Shanthi’s strategic leadership spans the organization’s entire portfolio.

This work includes navigating the role of artificial intelligence in global media and journalism, engaging in technology policy at the state and local level, and building democratic resilience in local communities. Shanthi was a Siegel Family Endowment Research Fellow from 2024-2025, where she explored how to build the future of artificial intelligence with the actual wants and needs of communities in mind.

Previously, Shanthi established her career in technology and public policy by working first in grassroots advocacy and then working directly with local and state governments on regulatory policy. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine. In her spare time, she volunteers for local elections through Tech for Campaigns and obsessively builds custom maps of places to eat, drink, and see in cities across the world.
