Sunny

Sunny Myers is a proud citizen of the Lumbee and Sappony tribes and a nationally recognized leader in equity and tech. With an engineering background and a deep commitment to systemic change, she serves as the Senior Leader of Employee Experience and Belonging at Fastly, where she leads enterprise-wide strategies for employee resource groups, culture, and engagement. Sunny is the founder of the AUNTIE Tech Collective, a groundbreaking initiative that supports Indigenous girls, women, and two spirits in tech through learning opportunities, career pathways, and culturally grounded community. She is the 2024 recipient of the AISES Blazing Flame Professional Award and a Board Member of Triangle Women in STEM. Sunny volunteers her time with Reboot Representation, Rewriting the Code, and AISES. A frequent speaker at national conferences, she’s known for blending data, humor, and heart to spark lasting change. Off the clock, she’s a rugby coach, sneakerhead, and mama bear who believes belonging should never be optional.
